   WTF is up with hurting a group’s reputation because you feel like it?

   Upscaled. Doh. It’s aired that way.
   The quality is much better than Share/PD raws… the problems you saw are caused by the TV station, and they’re problems that can’t be fixed…

   …unless you like photoshopping frames. Oh, and by the way, your player isn’t set up right. Fix your levels.

   “transport stream” doesn’t mean “amazing quality”… it means “better quality”… Code Geass P2P raws are OK, Code Geass TS raws are great.
   Nogizaka P2P raws are OK, Nogizaka TS raws are better.

   This stuff is dependent upon the station and the studio. Studios (mainly GONZO) do stuff like this (give TV stations a really bad source) all the time to keep people from archiving TV recordings, causing more to buy the DVDs.

2. Thing is, it is NOT better. Just as bad as before.
   Keeping shitty upscale upscaled and then apply various filters doesn’t help. And this applies to most (if not all) of their releases.

   About my levels, it’s not my problem. I’m just too lazy grabbing with ffdshow and you know, everyone’s monitor setting is different. And being a hardsubbed sign, how can I get two different color on my screen?

3. Yes it is better. It would have been better than using the Share/PD raw.
   In any case, keeping an upscale upscaled is not a bad thing. If you don’t want it to look upscaled, watch it windowed and resize the window.
   The thing is that most people go fullscreen, and higher bitrate 1024×576 looks better than lower bitrate 704×396 when resized to fit fullscreen.

   The links work fine for me.
   ffdshow doesn’t have anything to do with your levels (when setup with default settings)… use Haali’s video renderer.

   How you can hurt their reputation? By linking this post to their blog, with the only words showing being “GET YOUR DOSE OF EYECANCER HERE”.

4. In any case, keeping an upscale upscaled is not a bad thing. If you don’t want it to look upscaled, watch it windowed and resize the window. The thing is that most people go fullscreen, and higher bitrate 1024×576 looks better than lower bitrate 704×396 when resized to fit fullscreen.

   Properly filtered, perhaps. Overfiltered, nope.
   Especially with crappy source like this.
   Downscaling and then reupscaling by simple resize yields better result than overfiltered actual video.

   The links work fine for me.

   Weird, I tried with three different connection (US, JP, ID) and none of them works.

   ffdshow doesn’t have anything to do with your levels (when setup with default settings)… use Haali’s video renderer.

   I mean, I grab it with media player classic using vmr9 renderer while the correct way grabbing frame is using ffdshow. The color is still different anyway. And Haali video renderer is too heavy for my pc.

   And AFAIK, their reputation is as speedsubber, and crappy encodes.
