It’s Anos being OP the entire season. Complete with his own choir team which actually does something (as previously mentioned). Kanon’s ulterior motive seems pretty simple and in the end the actual villain revealing himself just to be finished off by Anos who’s back from death or whatever just simply another mark of his OP-ness. And of course he saved Eleonore so he can add her to his harem.
I guess that’s a fitting end for this adaptation. Too bad we don’t get to see what’s really happened with the original teacher. Nor the aftermath of that short war, especially on human side.
Maybe I’ll read them someday…
On semi-related note, I just discovered the Anos’ song lyrics came from the novel itself.
