Yet Another Uneventful Day :I

• Wrote some scripts – specific use only though so I don’t think I’ll make them public. putcrc (obvious), check (converted to sh from perl), indexer (includes updater + ed2k hash generator), aniDB hash feeder (reads file content for ed2k links and add them to aniDB account).
• Haven’t finished what I should finish months ago
• Fansub projects… no progress 🙁
• aniDB UDP API is infinitely sucks, btw. The only good thing about it is its extensive anime database. The rest sucks. (UDP!?)

Next week! I’m eagerly waiting for next week.

FreeBSD installation:

• You don’t want to install in full zfs root unless you can access the machine physically (or a way to reboot and operate on console) when needed
• You don’t want to install in GPT. Unless you only have one disk with GPT structure
• You CAN use zfs for /usr/local and /usr/home, though

Basically, few days ago I skimmed through this (or actually only read the title and first paragraph since I have no interest in it).

And sometime today or yesterday I skimmed through this. My reaction was just ‘lol’ and just leave it be (as usual I only read the title and maybe few sentences).

Classic, but its usage is fully optimized and the result is awesome

Well, mostly good except for the Nodocchi vs <insertnamewhomiforgot> imaginary battle which gets old real fast.

After few hours messing with Notepad++, Solaris’ Bash and tools, FreeBSD’ sh and tools and of course with help from folks at #bash, moefetch 0.2.1 is released.

Since this is the first (second) release, there’s no changelog.

…I think I forgot updating the help. Whatever. Tell me if you need documentation – usage should be straightforward.
