Grinding for boxes. All the boxes. Only 15 boxes at the moment though. Mainly because most of the time was spent on NA instead of here.

I did finish the challenge quest though. Not with low rarity because I think there are plenty of people did it already anyway. The one up there is with friend Super Orion, with Amadeus and Waver equipped with 2030.

The other one on another account is double Castoria with Chloe as attacker. With Black Grail. I don’t think I put much thought on the other CEs.

Meanwhile CQ on NA is relatively easy as well. Not as easy but I did clear it in single run. Samba Santa is a bit too strong for this.

As for the boxes, I’m at 50th box. I wanted 100 but I guess it’s not happening considering only 1 day left.

Rather unexpected, Christmas event has started already.

When they announced new interludes last Monday I expected the Christmas event to be at least next Monday instead. But nope, it starts last Wednesday instead. Welp.

As I wrote before, it’s annoying because now I need to farm on both JP and NA. Well, not really “need” but it would be nice to farm as much as possible. I sure can use a lot of dusts and seeds. The fluids are nice bonus as well; last year’s Nightingale Santa wanted 45 to level up her skill to 9 and I don’t quite have enough.

Currently farming slowly because the currently open nodes have rather crap drop rate. It does look like I need to at least open some boxes though just to unlock the story.

I don’t think I’ll roll for this one. The one above is on my sub account.

Thankfully the event CE this time provides 50% when limit broken so that would help team comps a lot.

Also farming here. Also kind of waiting for the best node to open. I did get the extra event CE but I still need more. At least one more so I can limit break one and still have +3 on my own. The two other slots are occupied by NP charge CEs.

At least from the look of it my current farming team of Arash, Zerklot, Skadi, and Waver can go pretty far. Having full 3/3/3 node being the highest drop node sure helps. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts.

I ended up I rolling the banner for about 10 times and got nothing. I did get three R event CEs and that’s it. No Bradamante or anything.

Apparently they fucked up drop rate during Thanksgiving banner and I got some SQ refunds and extra CE. That’s nice, I guess. There’s also fun bug of level 0 of the CEs they given away.

Samba Santa is coming next Monday. Nice timing because it’ll be before the JP one. I doubt there won’t be any overlap at all but at least I can have some dedicated days for NA. I especially need some dragon fangs. I mean, a lot of them. I don’t know if I can three turns the node but I hope Ereshkigal can help.

Nothing week. Next update will be a new chapter Lostbelt 5.5 which apparently isn’t actually Lostbelt but singularity. And not an event either so there’s no time limit. I think.

Christmas event will also be coming soon-ish. Maybe in one or two weeks. Not sure if I want to spare time for loot box this time.

Lostbelt chapter 3 is out. I’m going through it slowly. Or maybe not at the moment as I’m farming for Aurora steel instead.

Nothing exciting here either but at least there’s Advent Calendar which if follows last year should provide at least 30 sq.

Christmas event hasn’t been announced but if following JP pattern, it should start next week. I sure hope it’s not the same time as JP.

I may or may not roll for Bradamante. Even if I do it will be 10 rolls at most. Probably.

The Imaginary Scramble event is done. That sure took a while to finish. At least the currencies farming itself wasn’t too bad.

I didn’t have much time for challenge quest so I just go with easy route:

Not exactly easy at over 25 turns and wrong team composition (alter ego when most of the enemies are knights) but I did clear it in one attempt.

Up next is Lostbelt chapter 5.5. No idea if it’s time limited event or not.

There’s also 2.2M download except there’s no free SR this time. Welp. I hope they still do it sometime later (maybe on the new chapter release?).

Lostbelt chapter 3 has been released. As planned I got Waver to bond 11. Up next will be either Nitocris or Arash. Probably the latter but I generally prefer the former for farming because using Arash is kinda slow.

There’s also the Thanksgiving banner. I rolled for Ishtar 32 times but got that caster above instead. Not that I’m complaining because she’s quite a bit more useful for my team at the moment. Ishtar’s high damage is certainly nice but I also have Jannu summer which is while her damage is not quite as high, she’s still pretty good. The 40% NP charge is a bit lacking compared to Ishtar’s 50% but it should be workable. Hopefully.

Single target high damage caster with NP charge skill will certainly be useful in quite a few situations. I just need to gather enough skill stones and QP for her.

As for the new chapter itself, I don’t plan on doing it anytime soon. The earliest will be once the half AP daily quests campaign is ended which is in three days.

Still slowly going through the event. The story part seems pretty long. The challenge quest seems to be rather difficult according to people at AppMedia FGO wiki.

There’s nothing else otherwise. There’s no indication of free SR yet. Hopefully they still do it this year in addition to the free SSR earlier this year. Otherwise my Valkyrie is stuck at NP1 ;_;

As per screenshot above, I managed to get another Ereshkigal ( ﾟ ヮﾟ)

At NP2, she’s quite a bit more powerful. She’s especially useful for this account because I don’t have any Kaleidoscope or MLB Imaginary Magecraft (fourth one in the screenshot above).

My main goal was getting another Taiga beacuse I severely lack good single target lancer until next year’s Kagetora. I did get another one although I wished for at least two for NP3. But I got Ereshkigal instead so that’s even better in a different way.

My roll stats is now a bit weird. Hopefully I can still get my targets next year.

As for the event itself, I’ve almost done just need to do a bit more farming for the gold currency and the sand. The challenge quest was relatively easy brute-forced with Zerklot and double Skadi and finished by Okita. I sure wish my Zerklot is NP2 or higher. Or maybe MLB Black Grail.

Upcoming event is not an event but new main story. I’m not rolling anything here. Dreamfire, the max bond upgrade is very much welcome. I’ll need at least three at the moment for Waver, Arash, and Nitocris. Spartacus is also dangerously close to be maxed.

I only have enough rare prisms for one more dreamfire and the next free RP I can obtain (short of NP6 SR/SSR) will be quite a bit later in April. At least there will be a free one in January so that will do by then.

The new event has started. It’s got two new SSR servants; one of who has been waited for by lots of people.

I’m not interested in either so I’m not rolling.

The mechanic this time is rather interesting and thankfully simple. Although figuring out the most efficient way to reveal the map may take longer than I would like to so I ended up just opening whatever I feel like to.

As for the farming itself, thanks to me not having many event item bonus CE, I can just equip Imaginary Element to everyone and NP away. It’s already pretty much expected when they announced the damage bonus thing so that’s nice. The only rather annoying thing is at 75%, it’s not quite enough for some servants who only have 20% NP charge.

Free SR arrived. I said last week I may get Valkyrie. But after some (farming) considerations, I ended up getting Lancelot instead. As expected from the double Skadi system (second) main attacker, he’s plenty useful even at NP1.

Altera Santa Christmas rerun has started. It’s got Ereshkigal banner. Also simultaneously, event for FSN HF latest movie is also ongoing with Artoria banner.

I kinda wanted more Salter (NP3 would be nice) so I rolled the Artoria banner. The other SR in the banner, Heracles, is also useful so I figured it’s fine rolling that banner without waiting.

And then as per the image at the top of this post, I got the Artoria herself. Her raw damage is slightly lower compared to Salter (at the moment) but she’s got 30% NP charge which fits nicely with my complete lack of Kaleidoscope and MLB Imaginary Element. Leveling her up is very painful though so I’m thinking saving enough resources first until I can fully level her up at once. At worst she’ll probably be at least max ascended in next year anniversary with the new one-time special ascension function.

After getting getting her with 5 tickets, I felt like wasting some more tickets (total 10 to be precise) so I rolled Ereshkigal banner hoping for Taiga or Ana or event CE. Ereshkigal herself is also pretty useful with 50% NP charge so that would be a nice bonus.

First roll I got Nezha (now NP4) and the second roll I actually got Ereshkigal.

So, yeah, that was weird. Not that I’m complaining. Thankfully I’ve got almost enough materials to fully max her straight away. Just need about 10 mores stakes and a lot of QP. And exp cards as well because I currently have none after trying to max Lancelot last week.

With addition of those two SSRs, my summon rate is now almost in line with the advertised rate:

As I haven’t gotten my NP2 Valkyrie, my next roll will be next month’s banner… if it comes at all. I noticed there’s chance the WinFes banner may be skipped. Whoops. Oh well, there’s still next year’s anniversary banner. Actually looking at the lineup that one is better than the WinFes one.

With that, my next roll will be, hm, exactly that banner 😀

Or maybe Godjuna… if I feel like rolling. Maybe 10 rolls or something. Miyu would be nice too but NA is more about meta than eyecandy (except for Okita) and Miyu is not quite useful.

Christmas rerun finished. I did clear the store in the end.

The next event is apparently titled “Imaginary Scramble” and is supposed to happen after LB ch. 4 (India). And I haven’t finished reading that chapter. I probably really should before the event starts. Or something. Maybe I’ll catch up this weekend.

Interestingly the event gives bonus to a lot of summer servants because… sea. It’s almost like a second summer event. Or maybe that’s why this year’s summer is in the mountain. That’s a cool story.

The event itself will be most likely start next week. In the meantime they’re having some pre-event banner… event. The main servant here is You Kihi which is a rather interesting foreigner (and a very annoying one as enemy sometime back then). She’s also gotten buffed together with some other servants.

And the other servant in the banner is MHXX, Raikou summer, and Frankenstein summer. I did some random 22 rolls and gotten one MHXX. As I still had quite a lot of sq leftover I figured how hard can it be getting another MHXX or maybe Raikou if I’m lucky so I can NP2 at least either of them. Well it’s FGO with its crappy rate but at least I did get another MHXX so that’s nice. I’m not sure if I prefer her over Raikou in term of usefulness but she has NP charge skill and it’s always useful. Could be useful against high HP berserker… or saber. Her other skills seem okay and her NP being arts means it could be boosted nicely by Castoria.

Oh and I’ve gotten lots of Imaginary Magecraft CE. I didn’t get enough Imaginary Around though which kinda sucks.

12M downloads campaign has started. It includes the long-awaited Chaldea Teatime (because otherwise I have nothing for my caster CE).

Tickets are bought, fous are as well (though unused). Free SR is coming soon. I’ll probably pick Valkyrie for a nice NP2. Technically I should be getting either Herc or Zerklot. Or maybe even Astolfo. I’ll probably still get Valkyrie in the end.

Almost forgot but there’s also Cu Alter pickup… I wonder if I should roll or save for next year’s Jeanne summer and Okita summer and Merlin and even further Castoria. I also still kinda want Okita Alter and more Okita.

…considering the upcoming ones I may just skip this one. I can borrow one whenever needed anyway which is prett rare to begin with.

Christmas rerun done! …almost. Still need to do some farming and the extra quests.

I cleared challenge quest with team above since it seemed like an easy idea. And it sure was relatively easy. I think all I did was just spamming NP as many as I can. And thanks to two Castoria, they handled fending off enemy NPs.

Oniland done. I didn’t manage to get 100 aurora steels. I did get enough to final ascend Valkyrie and to max Skadi skills though. So that’s nice.

As for challenge quest, I used the team above. The method is simple, spam NP while protecting the attacker (Rider Kintoki) with Gudaguda Poster Girl. Oh, and Georgios of course.

Rider Kintoki sure is easily the best single target rider for pure firepower with his 50% NP charge, high NP charge rate, and two quick buffs.

Now I’m farming some feathers so I can max Jeanne Summer skills. Afterward it’ll be either more aurora steels or dragon fangs.

The Gudaguda event ended up giving lots of new expressions for Okita. Yay.

The raid was a bit surprising and got quite a few much needed fangs. Still not quite enough to max out Salter summer though. And as it’s the second most popular node, I didn’t have much else to farm so I ended up hitting random nodes both for event shop currency and some skill gems. Mainly caster skill gems. Didn’t get much though.

As predicted(?) last week, there’s also more building quests. I’ve already gotten enough materials so that was easy.

The challenge quest was rather interesting. I ended up borrowing a high damage lancer (Scathach) paired with Waver to defeat Nobukatsu. And then Okita in the back to finish off Nobbu.

And now instead of Halloween, we’re getting a Christmas rerun instead…? Where’s even Samba rerun.

So, um, yeah. It’s Nightingale Christmas. Apparently I didn’t do much last year. Not even remotely proper challenge quest clearance (I most likely used some command seals). The lottery box is limited to 10 this time as per usual rerun so there’s even less thing to do now.

Maybe I’ll try clearing the challenge quest proper this time.

Also did like 22 rolls for the Astolfo saber and got zilch. Not even SR/SSR event CE.

Oniland! Finally a single target caster. Although technically the role can be fulfilled by either Mech Eli or Jalter summer, a proper caster is sometimes useful especially for the half damage.

At any rate, going through the event rather quickly this time. By quickly I mean 5 turns farming because I use full event CE (hence quick) which means I need to fill up NP on the first wave. Now at 1.2M points I’m pretty close at maxing the damage and it sure is a lot of damage.

There will be raid coming soon so that will be fun. I don’t remember how it goes but it drops Aurora Steel. I need a lot of steels. Almost 100 of them. I hope I can collect enough from this single raid.

Suddenly more Gudaguda. Complete with raid. It’s over in about two days though so that was short.

Also suddenly more Okita costume. Now with ponytail and hakama. That’s nice although I’d prefer a completely new art rather that just variation of existing one.

The second/extra part of the event is coming later today. I hope it’ll involve building more craps.

On semi-related note, I managed to get NP2 Okita on my sub account on my 110th roll. Nice.

Also nice I got Himiko on my 12th roll. I mainly wanted CE (and got none) and planned for 22 rolls but this is better, I guess.

Timing-wise, it doesn’t look like we’ll get Space Ishtar rerun this year? Either that or they’re pushing main “Halloween” event to next month.

Or maybe this Gudaguda will end up as Halloween. Unlikely, I’d say.

Event done! With Cu and Skadi for Challenge Quest as I mentioned last week.

There’s supposed to be new Interludes before Oniland but it’s not yet announced. Cu Alter is rather interesting but I’m still saving my SQ for next year summer (Okita and Merlin).

In the meantime I’m farming for some mats so I can finish leveling up skills (and base level) for servants with NP charge. I also need some more QPs.

Then for some reason the dev thought it’s good idea to have hunting quest right after box gacha event.

Some were pretty useful like octuplets, aurora steel, chains, and spinal fluid. Especially the last one I need a lot of them.

That said, the immediate thing I need is actually dragon fang which didn’t make it this time. I need at least 177 of them because Salter summer takes that many for maxing her skills. I also need a lot of seeds.

Now I’m looking at it, I’m not sure why I’m farming for dusts and proofs.

On unrelated note, I tried NP2-ing Okita on my sub account but she still hasn’t come after over 100 rolls. Combined with Castoria fail, it’s been over 350 rolls since my last SSR servant on that account.

As expected, farming is slow but at least it’s efficient? I’ve just finished all the missions and all that’s left is clearing the shop and challenge quest.

I wondered how I did challenge quest last time… and I didn’t. I haven’t finished Solomon at the time it seems.

I think I cleared it on my JP account using low rarity servants. It was probably the usual taunt team with Cu as main attacker.

Up next is Oniland. That one will provide my much-needed aurora steel. Apparently it’s got raid quest as well which should be hopefully relatively easy with Cu and Skadi.

The event is probably overall relatively easy as well considering I did it twice at simultaneously on both JP accounts in 2018.

Next event is still not announced. Maybe Space Ishtar rerun? That may drive people crazy trying to get her to complement Castoria.

Third time exhibition quests for me means I’ve got quite some hang of it. Or just back record on how I cleared them.

For my own reference next year, here’s some details on how I did each of them.

Touta

The easiest one. Can be completed with solo Cu origin. Or solo Kagetora as I did last year.

Leonidas

Unfortunately I don’t really remember how I cleared this one. I think it was Nitocris, Mash, and Waver in the front? And then Georgios, Avicebron, and Cu Alter on the back? Maybe. Something around killing as many henchmen as possible with Nitocris NP.

Izo

Uh, here I introduce the taunt wall team.

This isn’t the exact team but it’s pretty close. I think. Maybe replace Georgios and Kintoki with Leonidas and Caster attacker or something. Or maybe it was Mech Eli? Anyone who can deal enough damage to assassin.

Jaguarman

This used to be pretty difficult for me in JP. But that was with low rarity (+Okita, etc) restriction. There’s no such restriction here so the team similar to one in Izo is back. Now with Okita because lancer and berserker. In hindsight it’s good thing I brought her otherwise Cu can’t quite defeat Nobbu with his buster card and NP.

Surprisingly I cleared this in one go. The experience in JP paid off.

Sheba

I think I failed this first time due to not paying attention to the gimmicks. Second run with Kintoki, Mash, and Merlin (I think?) allowed me to clear this one. Nothing much on strategy apart of just paying off all the loans and properly do it mainly for the attacker.

MHXA

This one was fun. With idea from this video, I did it with my own spin.

The team is Skadi, Cu origin, and Cu alter on the front and Avicebron, Waver, and Cu caster (I think?). Plugsuit was employed so I can break the first bar on first turn. Gandr was used so I can properly get rid of that DX spriggan which grants MHXA buff removal on normal attacks.

That one costed Cu alter HP drop to 1. In the end all the arrow protections held up.

Looking again, I should’ve also tried getting rid of Sleepy Mochi which granted full recovery. That should reduce number of turns required. At 900k HP I’m not sure if it’s actually doable though.

Finale

So that team in Izo section is actually for this one. And it worked so well because of how Nero just keep spamming her NP every time someone is defeated. The strategy pretty much boils down to taunt all the time, maybe with flee/invulns. Billy and Nero are put off until last moment.

And that’s it!

The event has ended as well and my final box count is at 72. Not too bad but still not enough caster skill gems to bring everyone to at least skill level 4.

I managed to max up Okita, 8/8/8 Valkyrie, 6/10/7 Janne Summer, 1/6/10 Anastasia, and various other useful skill level ups. Due to lack of Aurora Steel I still can’t max up Skadi but I’ve got enough dusts remaining so all that’s left is just those steels. And lore. I only have one lore remaining.

As for level and ascensions, there are still lots of servants to be leveled up. I do have quite a lot of bones and proof of hero but I may have better use of them so I’m holding back spending them on random servants.

Lastly, it’s now Mech Eli rerun and 3T farming is rather difficult. At least clearing the missions should be easy now with all events CE maxed from the start.

The Grail Front thingy ended up still rather stupid. The AI is especially dumb.

I really need to finish the exhibition quests. I finished most of them but at least two still remains. Those aren’t especially difficult but it still takes time. Potentially a lot of them.

The grinding situation is a bit annoying with farming for gold currency being pretty difficult. I should be able to finish it by end of today and then full speed farming for the tickets. Currently at around 60 boxes, I’m not sure if I can hit 100 for this one.

Lottery box event is suddenly here. No challenge quest this time but we get this weird tactical game instead. I guess you could play it “proper” with multiple servants going together and buff each other and stuff but I learned that the easiest way is just to send off Heracles and let him do his thing. The third skill power up he has just gotten recently especially helped; allowing him to one-turn everyone.

The box themselves is, well, box farming as usual. Thankfully the last map also doubles as farming for all shop materials so I’ve been doing that and slowly clearing up the shop. I don’t even need any event CE other than the lottery bonus.

Lottery box here as well. I’m also slowly going through the challenge quests. I’m in way more better shape compared to last year so I should be able to clear everything… I think.

Unlike JP, there’s no good node to farm everything at once so I’m currently farming the bronze item first. Or just started after sticking around at the lottery ticket node non stop for the first few days.

Thanks to all the box items, my servant upgrades sure are going smoothly.

Finished challenge quest in lazy mode with help of friend Abigail summer. And Merlin (and Mash). It took 25 turns but could’ve been faster had I not been focusing too much on Bunyan.

It’s 21M download campaign after summer event and still ongoing until tomorrow. So I’ve been clearing strengthening quests and just farming hands. Not that I need many exp cards anymore so the extras will just become mana prisms.

Timing wise, Gil fest should be coming up next but there’s usually a rerun of something in between. The timing will be pretty difficult though. We’ll find out soon.

Finally cleared F/Z rerun. Farming the nodes were pretty annoying so I ended up not buying the monuments and pieces. I did clear the other mats though.

The challenge quest wasn’t the first for me but I’ve forgot the gimmick etc. I cleared it first run thanks to friend Cu Alter. First bar of both were pretty easy but it gets really annoying once the permanent and frequent def buffs for Diarmuid activates. I didn’t bring any buff clearer either so it got pretty slow at that point. Thankfully Cu Alter just rip through everything once he’s the remaining servant on the field.

Now I’m preparing for Gil fest… kind of. I think I need to at least bring Skadi skill 1 to level 10 for 10/7/10. And maybe Atalante’s skill 1 to 10 as well.

Now I wrote it, I realized I haven’t prepared anything for the exhibition quests. My overall lineup is better compared to my main JP and I’m not restricting anything for this account so it should be easier. I hope.

Interestingly they released older Mashu summer costume in Rare Prism shop. I bought that as I’ve got quite a few extra RPs.

Otherwise nothing too exciting. I heard the challenge quest this time isn’t too difficult either. That should work out just fine for me as as I’ve mentioned above, I’m rather busy with other stuff at the moment.

It’s been half AP exp card farming week. Next week is Fate/Zero collab event rerun. It’s one of the older event and the CEs used aren’t of limited time. I’ve got some of them so farming shouldn’t be too bad.

I still don’t have Angra Mainyu though. I cleared up my friend points last week and got nothing.

I originally planned to roll for Waver on this event but I got him unexpectedly early few months ago so there’s nothing I really need at this event’s banner although Lancelot would be nice. But then again I don’t have Kaleidoscope so he won’t be as useful anyway and NP1 Lancelot can’t quite deal enough damages in some cases.

I’m still recovering from my roll for Salter summer (and Jannu summer) so my SQ situation isn’t exactly good at the moment anyway. The 10 ticket coming up soon is nice but I need to save for Okita (and Musashi) next summer. Oh, and Merlin.
